Developer, Freelance/Work From Home, November 2015 - Ongoing Support
I was hired on a freelance basis to build a live & on-demand video streaming platform for use by corporate clients including the Scottish Ambulance Service and NHS Scotland. I built the platform, replacing a legacy ASP.NET WebForms & Flash based solution, using Ruby on Rails with React with Wowza Media Server. This has enabled the business to effortlessly stream video content to a wide array of devices including Desktops, Smartphones and Tablets.
